day 5: a very european sunday!

sham’s amazing cousins drove us over the border to a little town in france. we noticed details, walked around by the lake, bought sorbet, window shopped, then hopped in the car again and went back to switzerland. checked out the un, did a little more sight-seeing, stopped by this awesome bridge, the name of which i am now forgetting, and then went back to france to go to their favorite pizza restaurant THAT WAS CLOSED. sadness consumed us but then we went home and nesrine made us an amazing feast and all was well again. it was amazing spending so much time with sham’s family and it was so nice of them to let us stay with them and spend their weekend showing and driving us around.
