Totally am going to have to contest a pass-back charge in the next 24 hours. I was carrying so many bags of presents when I went through the turnstile that I couldn’t get through fast enough after swiping my CTA card and adjusting everything so I had to swipe it again to get through. May or may not have walked five stores down the street from the gym to Chipotle at 9:53pm wearing flip-flops IN THE SNOW, because I HAD TO GET THERE BEFORE THEY CLOSED SO HELP ME. And then I definitely got COMPED our veggie burrito AND burrito bowl, because Carlos, Dan, and Bob ARE MY PEEPS and were that impressed/amused/appalled that I had made the journey through the snow in flip-flops. big ambitions today to make heather’s amazing stir-fry for dinner, but i didn’t get en route to home from work until 7p, so i quickly adjusted the plan to finally getting some groceries from whole foods and trader joe’s and meeting sham at the wall with 40 quick minutes to wait until he was done for the day.

zoo lights!
hanna, alex, sham, and i took luc and maisie to see ZOO LIGHTS at lincoln park zoo on sunday night. it was horrifically cold but we all had a great time! we saw penguins, dragons, and monkeys. also? sprinkle and pink trees. WIN. then we went home and hanna made us brownies.
